Our Approach

Over 250,000 mold spores can be represented on the head of a needle. The risks of doing more harm than good in remediation are high and require an informed approach that not only understands the health stakes, but the technical elements required to safely remove mold, fragments, and its sources.

As indoor environmental scientists, we blend the principles of traditional IICRC S520 remediation standards with safe technology to systematically remove indoor contaminants.   In our experience, traditional measures of containment and air scrubbing are a helpful first line of defense in reducing cross-contamination.  However, field and evidence-based work with many environmentally sensitive individuals have informed our protocols that produce optimal indoor air quality and wellness outcomes.

The Process:

Identify and define all sources of moisture and mold

Characterize the air quality of the indoor environment and correlations to health

Provide specific performance recommendations that serve to “roadmap” the property toward health

Form a specific scope of work and sequence to physically remove mold from the property and make sustainable corrections

Holistic consideration is made for all possible contamination reservoirs, including contents and HVAC systems

Maintenance and monitoring recommendations are made according to the profile of the property and occupant needs

We ensure safety every step of the way

We routinely work with individuals who have autoimmune conditions, multiple chemical sensitivities, cancer, and mold illness.  Our materials must be safe and non-toxic for people, pets, and plants.

SAFE TECHNOLOGY. BETTER AIR QUALITY.

Dry Fog

Our proprietary high pressure dry fog system follows a room by room and HVAC protocol to fill the volume of the space to bathe the air, thus denaturing and deposing biological particles for removal.

The dry fog is composed of microscopic particles that are so small (6 microns) that no wet residue is left behind all while eliminating microorganisms.  The material has been used for over 30 years to clean dialysis equipment and is safe for your furnishings, food, and fixtures.  This system is both utilized as part of our remediation protocols and an ongoing indoor air quality maintenance program to achieve and maintain healthier indoor environments.

Step 1:

THE STERILANT: InstaPURE

First we apply our EPA- approved sterilant, InstaPURE, that serves to denature biologicals on contact and just as importantly depose any remaining fragments onto horizontal surfaces for complete removal.  Comprised of microscopic disinfectant particles that measure only a few microns, InstaPURE can permeate the hardest to reach recesses without damaging any surfaces. Although lethal to mold and pathogens, it’s safe enough to be FDA-approved for food contact.

Step 2:

THE PROTECTION: EverPURE

The second step is the application of a microbiostatic antimicrobial called EverPURE which makes interior surfaces less hospitable to microbials.  The chemical composition of this barrier is both charged and shaped to induce cellular disruption to fungi, providing an additional measure of protection.
